PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for processing hourly payroll for location and providing administrative support for all payroll functions in compliance with all company, federal, state and local regulations.
  • Under general supervision, process hourly payroll ensuring all entries are correct and entered in a timely manner
  • Gather and compile data, creating required weekly and monthly reports
  • Partner with accounting and corporate payroll to research and resolve payroll related issues
  • Provide training on payroll system to end users as needed
  • Back up accounting clerk as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • This is an Individual Contributor role with required competencies: Functional/Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Learning on the Fly, and Interpersonal Savvy
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in accounting preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years applicable clerical experience; preferably in payroll
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook); experience with E-Time and ReportSmith preferred
  • Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential and appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English (read, write and speak); bi-lingual preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner
  • Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
  • Follow all departmental and company safety policies and programs

  • Ability to operate computer, keyboard and mouse; be stationary for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work varying shifts (e.g. more than 8 hours,/day, 40 hours/week, weekends and or holidays as needed in support of plant schedules
  • Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
